The Long Beach Island Historical Association was established in 1976. It was created by a group of enthusiastic volunteers with the support of local governments.
The Board is made up of 18 members. Each member is selected and nominated by the existing Board members for the talent and time they bring to the Association and the Museum. See the List of Current Officers and Trustees below:
Our Board Members are the heart and soul of the Association,
it is their dedication that continues to inspire the curation and
success of the museum.
This table was used from the 1870's till the 1900's at Bond's Life Saving Station in Holgate
