A Bit About Linda
Linda Colgan, originally from the Northwoods of Wisconsin, has spent her summers in Beach
Haven since the early 1970s. She holds a BS in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University and an MA in English Literature and Creative Writing from West Chester University.
Linda has extensive experience in managing non-profit organizations, including serving as
president of the Brandywine Ballet Company and coordinating the West Chester University
Poetry Conference. She also serves as board president of the Useppa Island Historical Society.
She has been a board member of the Mordecai Land Trust since 2004 and is currently serving
her second term as board president. Additionally, in her capacity as president, she is the project manager for the USACE’s Mordecai Coastal Wetlands Restoration Project, the $10M breakwater project in partnership with NJDEP, soon to constructed offshore on the northwestern side of the island.
