Steve Dodson

Throughout the 1960s Steve Dodson vacationed in Ship Bottom with his family. Since 1977 he has lived on the other side of the bay in Tuckerton. In 1994 he edited his first book of old diaries. Others followed, the diaries, journals, memoirs and letters of men and women.

 

During the past ten years he edited a newspaper encyclopedia of regional history, including all of LBI. These books include the news from 1852  to 1987. Chapters on all the towns and townships, and chapters on technology, women, hunting, fishing, the coast guard, crime, shipwrecks, baymen, lighthouses, the railroad and all the other current events of the day.
