Weddings

A Unique Wedding Venue

The Long Beach Island Historical Association asks you to consider the use of our Auditorium to exchange or renew your wedding vows, or as a weather backup for your beach wedding.  The heated, air-conditioned, and handicap-accessible auditorium seats up to 180, and is the historic former sanctuary of Holy Innocents Church built in 1882.  The acoustics are excellent for music and there is a PA system.

We are located in the heart of the Beach Haven Historical District across from Bicentennial Park, within one to two blocks of the beach, motels, restaurants, B&B's, and public parking lots.

A 75' covered porch on the front of the building is at your disposal for photos and light fare or a champagne toast.  There is a handicap-accessible toilet and separate areas for the Wedding Party's preparations.

A Unique Venue

The Long Beach Island Historical Association asks you to consider the use of our Auditorium to exchange or renew your wedding vows, or as a weather backup for your beach wedding.  The heated, air-conditioned, and handicap-accessible auditorium seats up to 180, and is the historic former sanctuary of Holy Innocents Church built in 1882.  The acoustics are excellent for music and there is a PA system.

We are located in the heart of the Beach Haven Historic District across from Bicentennial Park, within one to two blocks of the beach, motels, restaurants, B&B's, and public parking lots.

A 75' covered porch on the front of the building is at your disposal for photos and light fare or a champagne toast.  There is a handicap-accessible toilet and separate areas for the Bride's preparations.

The building is constructed in the Victorian Queen Anne and Shingle style, with a dramatic wooden vaulted ceiling, beams and stained-glass windows.  The auditorium contains no explicit religious symbols, and is decorated with hundreds of items of historical significance to Long Beach Island.

A donation is required for the use of the facilities.  Additionally there is a cleaning fee and a refundable security deposit.  Please contact us with your time requirements for current pricing.  All fees are payable with your reservation, and with the exception of the security deposit, are not refundable.

Please note: smoking and open flames are not permitted in the building or on the porch.  Food and drink are permitted within the building by special arrangement but must be outside-catered as we have no kitchen facilities.
